We are often asked what the difference is between the many pole types that are available on this site.  The best way to describe each pole is to show you a picture.  The Finial Company has produced a picture and description that is very good.  Keep in mind that the descriptions on this picture are pertinent to The Finial Company.  However, many other manufacturers will have similar differences between their pole types as well. 

Looking at this picture will provide you an opportunity to get a good idea of the differences between the styles.

Note:  Due to the nature of wood, Unfinished or Natural wood components may vary in color, mineral spots and grain patterns.  Unfinished or Natural woods may also accept paint and stain differently.
