Retail Orders of $150 or more are shipped to the 48 contiguous United States FREE of charge. This excludes all manufacturer surcharges, handling fees and processing fees. Surcharges may apply due to size, weight or special handling, such as charges applied for long poles and for our Iron Product lines. These charges will be applied regardless of the order dollar amount and will be indicated as such on your order. Because of the significant discounts allowed on orders purchased with the Designer Pricing Model, all shipping, handling, processing and surcharge fees are charged on orders purchased with this discount program. Because of the ever fluctuating fuel costs, Shipping Charges are based on averages and may not always be accurate. We closely monitor these charges and change them as needed to ensure they are as accurate as possible. Even though this does not happen very often, if it is found that the actual cost of shipping an order is significantly lower or higher than what was charged, the difference will be either credited or debited against the credit card used for the purchase. Before we debit any additional funds from a customers credit card, we will first contact the customer to inform them of our intent and seek their authorization to do so. Suppliers use a variety of shippers. The most common means are UPS and Federal Express and Common Carrier (truck). There are surcharges applied to each order when a Common Carrier is used. UPS Ground, FedEx Gound and YRC Corp. are examples of Common Carrier Freight lines. Some suppliers charge various fees for various services. Each charge will be detailed on your invoice during checkout. Our web store makes no money on these charges as we pass them directly from the supplier. It is our intent for orders to ship as quickly as possible. However, there are many factors that can impact shipping times. Orders will be processed by our web store within 24 hours of receipt. Exceptions are made for orders received after 3 pm. cst Friday or on weekends or National Holidays. Orders received during these times will be placed on the following Monday or the next business day. All orders are shipped directly from the manufactures or our suppliers according to the general guidelines listed below. Back-orders sometimes occur in this industry as in others. Orders with back-ordered items will have a note posted in them indicating such and the status will be available via the Order Status option. If shipping to Alaska, Hawaii or transcontinental, please contact us for shipping details and estimated charges. For faster delivery options other than regular ground, please select "Expedited Shipping" at check-out. This is a nominal fee for Expedited Shipping Services and my not cover the actual total cost for expedited shipping. If you use this service and shipping costs exceed the amount charged, you are authorizing us to make a second charge to your credit card for the amount of that difference. If you prefer, you can contact us prior to placing your order and we will provide you with a more specific amount. All shipping methods are determined by the supplier. Our web store makes no money on expedited shipping fees. This option is not available on international orders. * Splicing two shorter rods together to accomplish the desired length can prevent long pole charges. So, rather than ordering a 16 ft. pole, you could order two 8 ft. poles and the required splicing hardware and attach them together. Of course, there would be additional costs for the splicing components. However, this charge would be much less than the Common Carrier charges. Nevertheless, you can still order the longer rod. The common carrier charge will automatically be added to your statement. Some product lines cannot be spliced together. Contact us for details. |
